Partygoers who strayed into the woods at Sir Ivan Wilzig’s epic Hamptons bash last weekend had good reason to feel like they were being watched. They were.
Confidenti@l has learned that the eccentric millionaire philanthropist’s security team brought in a drone to monitor the property around Wilzig’s 10-acre Water Mill estate where 700 guests — many of them naked — helped the banker-turned-musician celebrate his 60th birthday. One insider involved in planning the bash says that the eye in the sky was brought in because of Wilzig’s experiences at past parties he’s hosted.
“People kept disappearing into the woods so Sir Ivan hired a drone to circle the area and not only make sure that no one went missing, but also so no crashers would break in,” we’re told. “The drone was connected to security cameras.”
